Hey, I'm Jenny Dreadful. My good friend John asked if I had any recommendations for good movies to watch on Halloween, and the perfect one leaped to mind: Stitches. Especially with all the real/rumored clown scares going around the country, lately, what better movie to watch on Halloween than Stitches: The story of a birthday clown that returns from the dead to take revenge on the kids who caused (however accidentally) his untimely and gruesome death while performing for them.
The main events in the movie take place a few years after that fateful birthday party, when the young children have now reached their teens. Our hero, the birthday boy, hasn't had any more birthday parties (understandably) since the one that went so horribly wrong, but is finally talked into having another by his friends.
With plenty of hilariously gory clown-themed deaths, complete with a red nose that takes off on its own to sniff out the next victim, this movie is the perfect choice to exploit anyone's coulrophobia!
Available on Netflix, Amazon, iTunes, and Vudu, this movie is sure to answer the question Stitches himself likes to ask, "Everybody Happy?" Yes, yes I am. As you will be if you choose to watch Stitches this Halloween!
